With Sylvia Israel
At the end of life, all we can ask...Did I love well?
- Jack Kornfield
Each of us has experienced the freedom of an open heart: compassion, empathy, wisdom and peace. Although an open heart is our natural state, we often find ourselves with hearts closed, hurt, or angry. Re-opening the heart to ourselves or others, at times may seem difficult, even impossible.
On this day of St. Valentine, we will discover and share the intricacies of what supports and prevents us from re-opening our hearts. We find our authenticity by practicing non-judgment and acceptance of ourselves and others. We draw from spiritual traditions, psychodrama and expressive arts to assist in our exploration. We aim to find peace along the way, thus contributing to creating a more peaceful world.
