"One of the most phenomenal experiences of my life."
Leigh Johnson - Participant from first annual retreat
A Psychodramatic Journey of Restoration & Renewal
This unique, experiential retreat integrates body, mind & spirit through a thoughtful blend of psychodrama, yoga, and cultural experiences on the Island of Bali, Indonesia.
The adventure begins in Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali, at the newly created MORENO Center. It concludes at the beautiful Bloo Lagoon Village, nestled in the hills above Pedangbei, overlooking the ocean of Bali's East Coast.
Daily psychodrama and yoga sessions combine with unique cultural experiences, such as: making traditional daily offering baskets; a Balinese cooking class at a local village; and, visiting one of the oldest Hindu temples on the island for a special blessing.
There is also free time for exploration, reflection, relaxation, massage, or optional activities, such as: a pre-dawn hike up Mt. Batur to witness the sunrise (weather permitting); enjoying Balinese music & dance in local performance venues; a snorkeling adventure to commune with under-sea life; and, a trip to the stunning Tirta Ganga Water Palace.
The fee for this adventure is still being worked out for 2015 with various vendors. Estimated: $2,500 (excluding airfare) with some variation depending on accommodation choices.
In Ubud, 6 participants may stay in rooms at the MORENO Center: comfortable basic rooms, each with its own bathroom, and shared common space. Others may choose the D'Omah Hotel for a bit more luxury (and a swimming pool.) At Bloo Lagoon there are a number of villas, each somewhat different.
There is a limit of 12 participants (first-come, first served). Until the fees have been set, an e-mail of interest will hold your space and provide you with more information (including a pre-pay opportunity for portions of the retreat fees at 2014's prices instead of 2015's.) Once fees are set (mid- to late-June) a deposit is required to hold your space.
Participants need a Visa to visit Bali (which can be obtained at an Indonesian Consulate or at the airport on arrival.) More details than you can possibly imagine will be provided to support your ease and enjoyment. We hope you decide to be a part of 2015's group.

"I fell in love many times in Bali. Kind of a constant state of falling in love... with volcanoes, distant waterfalls, oceans, people. So either I am doing a great job of continuing to cultivate these relationships within, or just holding onto the wish of returning. But it doesn't feel like a heartbreak. Just a sweet heartache."
