Bay Area Moreno Institute (BAMI) is accepting applications for the January Psychodrama Training Weekend. Psychodrama training is for people seeking to expand their knowledge of the theory and practice of Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy.
Psychodrama Training provides a supportive, stimulating community of learners; a laboratory in which to develop spontaneity as a director, auxiliary, protagonist and group member. The Training will include topics such as working with individuals, spontaneity, directing skills, integrating psychodrama with neuroscience and psychodrama theory, philosophy and history. Students will have input into specific areas of study and will have numerous opportunities for directing.
Group and Individual Case Supervision will be provided at each session using psychodramatic and other action methods. If you are interested in additional supervision/consultation, please let us know.
Training is open to professionals and students in the fields of mental health, law, substance abuse and recovery, creative arts therapies, religion, human services, personnel management, group facilitation and education.
20 training hours may be applied toward certification by the American Board of Examiners. CEU's for MFT and LCSW are also available.
