"You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family." So goes an old saying. "Every day is Mothers' Day on the Psychodrama Stage!" is a quote often iterated by Zerka Moreno in her training groups.
Each of us carry with us the internalized blessings and baggage (introjects in Object Relations lingo) from our families of origin, whether biological, adoptive, or foster. How many of us have visited the family home and fallen into childhood patterns of behavior as we step through the door?
This workshop will explore these introjects in action and help us decide which are the blessings that are worth keeping, and which are baggage that needs to be left behind.
