Abundance <-> deprivation

The Deep Psychology of Money

A One - Day Workshop/training

In our society, money is a topic more taboo than sex, religion or politics. In this workshop, we will explore how our beliefs and attitudes around money were formed and how they reflect larger attitudes about how we approach our lives today. Assuming that our basic needs are met, do we experience life as providing us with abundance or do we generally feeling deprived? How much of our reactions to money stem from our inner money life, often without our awareness?

In a supportive environment we will use experiential methods and the wisdom of the group to gently break the taboo surrounding money and reflect on our lives through a different lens. We will draw from Emotional Currency: A Woman's Guide to Building a Healthy Relationship with Money by Kate Levinson, PhD to help us on our journey.

This workshop is appropriate for anyone interested in exploring his/her relationship to money and professionals who work with clients dealing with emotional issues related to money.
